IMAGATORIUM

A Novel by

BOBBY WAYNE

Johnny had little reason to be confident in himself. He supposed he was fortunate to have been adopted by his parents, but his father had died, and his grieving mother struggled to bond with him.

One day his life changed when he followed after a mysterious talking raven and became lost. Being unable to retrace his steps, the raven guides him to a magical door that sweeps him into the world of Imagatorium. There, he meets a woman, and a trio of birds, who agree to lead him back home. To survive, Johnny must face temptation, overcome grief, and gain self-confidence.

Meanwhile, it becomes apparent that his arrival into Imagatorium was not by chance but that other motives were at play.

Johnny walked up to the little girl. "Do you know who I am?" He patted the sword sheathed to his side. "Do you know what this sword has been through these past few days?"

The little girl chuckled. "Does the big man want to attack a little girl?" she mocked back. "It doesn't matter what you did in the past. It only matters what you are now and what you will do in the future. I know you better than you do it seems. And you are on the wrong path."

"Does this path lead to where the great door appears?"

"It does."

"Then why do you keep saying I'm on the wrong path?"

"Because you are."

Johnny before he is humbled....
